The Team

Baobab Films is a husband-wife team with a ton of experience from various backgrounds in the digital media industry and beyond.

Julie has been producing creative video content for over 15 years. She received a BS from Radford University in Digital Media and went on to further her education at Savannah College of Art & Design with an MFA in Film & Television. She has worked with a variety of Fortune 500 Company clients including The Coca-Cola Company, SunTrust Bank, and Novelis Aluminum. She was nominated for an Emmy for her work with an original documentary (THE NEW ENTREPRENEUR) that she produced for Georgia Public Broadcasting.

Albert was born and grew up in South Africa. He studied tourism management at Central University of Technology and then spent the next 5 years traveling southern and eastern Africa as a safari guide for international clients. It was here where he began exploring his passion for photography – capturing the culture, wildlife, and geography of the places he visited.

In 2010 Julie and Albert met in Monroe, Georgia where they were both learning to skydive. Albert was filming and photographing jumps for clients, while Julie was working as the video editor. Fast forward 10 years and 2 kids later, they founded Baobab Films – a fusion of their collective talents, experience, and passions – all available for the benefit of their clients!
