Our photographers and videographers will be capturing the rooms throughout your property from a variety of angles and generally we move through the whole house twice if we are shooting video and stills, as we do these separately. It’s easiest if you are not in the home during our shoot, as we don’t want to inconvenience you by moving from multiple rooms and “hiding” to stay clear of our shots.

If you were having professional portrait photography done, you would make sure you looked your best. Preparing your property is no different! Once you have hired us to capture your photos and video, we will provide you with a cheat sheet for getting your house in shape for its big debut. Real estate photography is also “all about the details.” 

Once on site, our photographers and videographers may make some minor adjustments throughout individual rooms to improve composition of our photos, such as removing a toaster on a counter, or shifting a floor lamp to hide cords and show-off a nice hardwood floor.

Depending on the package you choose, our team may only be at your home for a couple of hours, OR multiple days if you have a large residential estate, or a commercial property that you want thoroughly covered.  Typically, we can complete an essentials package (photos, video, and aerial drone) on a home under 3,500 square feet in about 4 hours.

Because our photographers utilize a technique that blends multiple photographs with different exposures to achieve the best images possible, there is more to our process than simply taking pictures. Your photos will be professionally edited and retouched to bring out the most favorable color, contrast, texture and clarity of your images. Because of this, our standard turnaround time is by midnight of the following day.

Our walkthrough videos are professionally color graded and incorporate music, on-screen text and graphics, as well as an animated logo sting for your business or name. In order to work efficiently, please let a member of our team know if you have any special verbiage or information that you would like to have conveyed in the video. This will help speed up the editing process and eliminate unnecessary back and forth during post-production. Turnaround for all video packages is 2 days.

Aerial drone photography and/or videography is included with our packages and can be added à la carte to a single service or simply requested as a stand-alone option.

All of our drone pilots carry the Part 107 license required by the FAA to fly commercially and have clocked hundreds of hours of flight-time before arriving at your home or business. Our pilots take safety seriously and follow all required FAA rules and regulations.

We understand that your relationship with your client is important and trust is essential.  You can feel comfortable working with our team, as all of our photographers, videographers, and drone-pilots carry $1 million in liability insurance.

Once you have decided to hire Baobab Films to help capture your home or business, we’ll need to schedule a quick call to learn more about the property.  We will want to know whether your property is commercial or residential, square footage, occupancy status, and any other additional information you may have about features that should be included and/or avoided during your shoot.
